Signature Film
The idea of this film showcases the conflicts that a designer gets into while getting into a problem and finding an integrated solution for it. The problem and the challenges mould the designer to change himself/herself to attach to the problem to come up with a solution that’s intrinsic within the problem. This struggle makes the designer very much part of the ecosystem and sometimes the problem moulds the designer and then designer moulds it further and then they come with an integrated solution which is what the Versus logo would become eventually. It is a choreographed action-reaction duel which magnifies and eventually settle down to coexist.
The journey of a designer deeply immersed in solving a problem is inherently tied to navigating through conflicts and challenges. These conflicts arise as the designer delves into the problem, seeking an integrated solution. This process is not merely about finding a quick fix but involves a transformative journey for the designer. They must adapt and change, becoming intrinsically attached to the problem. It’s through this intimate engagement that a designer’s creativity and problem-solving skills are honed.
This process highlights the complex interplay between a designer and the challenges they face. It underscores the importance of resilience, adaptability, and deep engagement with the problem at hand. The outcome is a testament to the designer’s journey — a journey marked by conflict, transformation, and ultimately, integration.

BEHIND THE SCENES
The Pune Design Festival 2024 concluded last weekend. As partners and well-wishers, we had the privilege of creating the opening film, this year themed ‘Versus’.
Eeksaurus embarked on an adventurous journey by adopting stop-motion animation for the first time in the festival’s history. Faced with a production timeline of less than 10 days, our determined team at Eeksaurus embraced the ‘Versus’ theme wholeheartedly, seeing it as a challenge to overcome our battle with time. The interdisciplinary teams engaged in a creative showdown, a testament to their preparation and battle cry.
Remarkably, the sound and music departments were expertly managed single-handedly by Susmit Nimbhorkar.
