Suresh Eriyat

For nearly two decades, Suresh has pioneered the craft of animation on Indian screens. After graduating from National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad in 1997, Suresh established Famous House of Animation, where he created some unforgettable animated ads, shorts, music videos with many firsts. In 2009, he founded Studio Eeksaurus in partnership with Nilima Eriyat.

Suresh’s portfolio, which includes over 400 films, has won him over 100 national and international awards, including the prestigious Annecy festival Cristal for his film Fateline in 2015, a first for India. His in-house projects Tokri and Fisherwoman and Tuk-Tuk have both won the National Film Award for Best Non-Feature Animation Film.

Co-founder & Executive Producer

Nilima Eriyat

With almost 20 years of work experience across the field of advertising and film making, Nilima has been the backbone of Eeksaurus, responsible for the overall operations and management of the studio and serving as Executive Producer on all the films.

With her vision of taking animation beyond the advertising space, Nilima has served as Executive Producer on films by various budding filmmakers and helped launch their work in the international animation community. Under her special incubation initiative, films like What Is Your Brown Number? and The Art Of Aping have won number awards and recognitions internationally. She continues to guide aspiring filmmakers in their endeavour to find their voice in animation.
